A native of Erie, PA and a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Matt joined the White Lodging team in March 2022. He has been an amazing asset to the Shoreline Bar and Grille Team and has played an integral role in the successes of the department thus far!
What drew Matt to the world of cooking was the fast pace and high pressure this industry demands. He started his career in Texas in 2003 at a restaurant called Pelican’s Landing. There he discovered his passion and love for cooking. He then went to Mercyhurst North East where he earned his Bachelors degree in Culinary Arts and has continued to make an impressive career in the culinary world.
Matt loves the ability to be creative and his favorite style of food to make is Asian. His ultimate dream is to own his own restaurant one day. Matt’s outgoing personality and hard working attitude has brought him to the Courtyard and he cannot wait to see what the future holds!
Chris Kondzielski is from Cambridge Springs and went to Gannon University for accounting where he graduated in 2011. Before white lodging, he worked at the historic Riverside Hotel and Dinner Theatre. He got into hospitality because he got so much pleasure and enjoyment in making people happy. Chris has been with White Lodging since 2016. Making the transition from the Front Office to Food and Beverage in 2019, and he has brought his “spirit to serve” with him. The Shoreline consistently ranks in the top ten of the company’s portfolio. Our mission is to make the Shoreline Erie’s top restaurant destination, and to leave a lasting impression on all customers that dine with us through our exceptional customer service and incredible food.
Our fresh new design represents the spirit and style of the area, cool colors and textures echo the beautiful views of Lake Erie. Enjoy the casual, laid-back atmosphere indoors or you can head outside to our full-service patio to enjoy a dinner surrounded by lush foliage and views of Presque Isle Bay.
Our full-service bar is a welcoming place for a pre-dinner drink, to catch up with friends or grab a meal. Choose from a selection of local craft beers, curated wines, classic cocktails, seasonal drink specials or “Zero Proof” non-alcoholic beverages. Stop by for a drink!

In order to accommodate our hotel guests, our restaurant does not accept regular reservations during the summer season.
